The Eagle Theatre in Sugar Hill welcomes Rocky Horror Picture Show and Miracle on 34th Street in early November, and for KING + COUNTRY brings A Drummer Boy Christmas to Gas South Arena on November 27. The Atlanta Christkindl Market runs on the Lawrenceville Lawn from November 20 through December 24, the Atlanta Botanical Garden at Gainesville glows with lanterns on select nights from November 19 through January 3, and the Holly Jolly Market and Holly Jolly Trolley return to Gainesville during Christmas on Green Street on December 6, joined this year by the Green Street Santa Sprint fun run. Suwanee's Jolly Holly Days lights up Town Center Park on Friday, December 4, with the Run Run Rudolph 5K the next morning, Christmas in Grayson brings a free family festival to Grayson City Park on Sunday, December 6, and the GDU Moms Stand Up Comedy Night brings an evening of laughs right here in Dacula on December 5. The Light Park at Gwinnett Field opens its walk-through light show on November 13 and runs through January 3, the Glow Light Show at Coolray Field glows nightly from November 14 through January 4, the free Lawrenceville Lights drive-through display glows off Braselton Highway on December 10 through 12 and 17 through 19, and the Lilburn Holiday Parade rolls down Main Street on December 12. Winder lights its town tree on November 20, hosts its 77th annual Christmas Parade on December 12, and adds a winter holiday festival on the downtown square this season, Auburn kicks off its Christmas season with Sounding Off the Christmas Season on December 11, and Sugar Hill's Holiday Celebration fills downtown with free Santa photos on Saturday, December 12. Chateau Elan lights its grand tree at the Inn on December 4, Trans-Siberian Orchestra brings The Ghosts of Christmas Eve to Gas South Arena on December 13, and Southern Ballet Theatre brings its Nutcracker to the Lawrenceville Arts Center from December 18 through 20. The year closes with family-friendly New Year's Eve options: Stone Mountain Park's early countdown and fireworks on December 31, the Noon Year's Eve celebration at the Suwanee library, and the Radio 80s New Year's Eve Bash in Gainesville. The City of Dacula still announces details for its annual tree lighting and Christmas parade on its official calendar, so keep an eye on it as the holidays approach.
